Portfolio design · Canada

Organize your lottery lines as one portfolio.

A number portfolio coordinates the lines you already plan to play. It reduces unnecessary repetition, expands number exposure and makes the whole plan easier to measure—without claiming to predict a random draw.

The core idea

Stop treating every line as an isolated choice.

When several lines repeat many of the same numbers, part of the budget is concentrated on the same exposure. A coordinated portfolio lets you see that overlap and decide how much diversity you want before the draw.

Same four lines · different structure

A portfolio makes repetition visible.

These Lotto 6/49 examples each contain four distinct lines. The first repeatedly concentrates two numbers. The second spreads its 24 available number slots across 24 different numbers.

Both examples still contain four valid, distinct combinations. They have the same Classic jackpot probability. The difference is how broadly the number slots are distributed.

USEFUL PORTFOLIO CONTROLS

What you can organize

  • Unique-number coverage across every planned line.
  • Maximum overlap between any two selections.
  • Repeated pairs that concentrate the same relationships.
  • Budget and line count before generating anything.
  • Pre-draw records so results can be scored honestly.
UNCHANGED DRAW MATH

What stays equal

  • Every valid individual line has the same probability.
  • Equal counts of distinct lines own equal counts of combinations.
  • Expected total matches remain equal under a fair draw.
  • Past patterns do not make a future number due.
  • No portfolio structure guarantees a prize or profit.

Evidraw workflow

Build the plan before the draw.

The value comes from making the portfolio visible, reproducible and measurable—not from changing the draw.

The honest conclusion

Coverage can beat random at coverage.

When the goal is to expose a fixed number of slots to more different numbers, deliberate coordination can outperform ordinary random overlap. That is a real structural improvement. It is not a predictive jackpot advantage.

Common questions

Lottery portfolios, clearly answered.

What is a lottery number portfolio?

It is a group of lottery lines planned and reviewed together. Evidraw measures number coverage, repeated numbers, pair diversity and results across the complete group.

Does a coverage portfolio improve jackpot odds?

Not compared with the same number of other distinct valid lines. Each distinct line contributes one combination. Coverage changes how numbers are distributed across the portfolio, not the probability assigned to each line in a fair draw.

Why reduce overlap between lines?

Reducing overlap exposes the portfolio to more different numbers and pairs. That can reshape how lower-level matches are distributed, but it does not increase the expected total matches for an equal number of lines.

How many lines should I play?

There is no universal optimum. Choose a fixed entertainment budget first, then use portfolio design to organize the lines that fit within it.

Is this the same as a lottery wheeling system?

They are related, but not identical. A wheel expands combinations from a selected number pool according to a design. Evidraw’s broader portfolio approach can also coordinate independently sized lines, user-entered Free Plays, overlap limits, budget choices and result tracking.
